How to use the travel yoga timer

    1. Pick a preset such as the 5-Minute Flight Reset or the Evening Travel Wind-Down, or open a routine from one of our generators.
    2. Press Start. The timer counts down each move, tells you when to switch sides, and chimes when it’s time to move on. Voice cues read out each move so you can keep your eyes closed.
    3. Customize it. Add moves from the library, change the hold time, reorder with the arrow, or remove a move. Tap Save to this device to keep your routine for next time.

Tip for flights: open this page once while you still have a connection. After that it works in airplane mode. Use headphones for voice cues so you don’t disturb your neighbors, and turn chimes off if you’d rather rely on vibration-free silence.

Keyboard users can press the space bar to start and pause.

    The travel presets

    • 5-Minute Flight Reset: all seated and discreet: breathing, shoulders, neck, spine, ankles, and glutes.
    • 10-Minute Hotel Flow: standing stretches, then a few floor moves in the space beside the bed.
    • 10-Minute Post-Flight Reset: starts with an easy walk, then standing stretches for calves, hips, hamstrings, and chest.
    • Airport Layover Stretch: no floor and normal clothes. A wall or pillar is all you need.
    • 8-Minute Morning Travel Mobility: wakes up stiff hips and spine before a travel day.
    • Evening Travel Wind-Down: slow floor stretches and a long rest to help you settle in an unfamiliar room.

For a reclined hamstring stretch, a travel yoga strap helps, but a belt or towel works fine.

    Frequently asked questions

Does the timer work without internet?

Yes. After you’ve opened the timer once with a connection, your browser keeps a copy, so it works in airplane mode. Voice cues use your device’s built-in speech, which usually works offline too.

Why don’t I hear voice cues?

Check that “Voice cues” is ticked and your phone isn’t on silent. Some browsers only allow sound after you tap a button, so press Start rather than using a shortcut. On iPhone, the ring/silent switch can mute speech.

Will the screen turn off during my session?

Tick “Keep screen on.” Where your browser supports it, the timer keeps the screen awake while a routine is running. If it isn’t supported, the option is hidden.

Is my custom routine saved to an account?

No. Routines are saved only in your browser on this device. Nothing is sent to us.
